Yoga for Menopause series, mini-retreat

Whether you are in your 30s, 40s 50s or 60s, as a woman you WILL experience this natural change. For 20% of you it will be easy enough, for 20% it will be tough enough that you may need very robust help. and for the rest… You will find yourself navigating a pretty rough sea. How well you navigate it will be dependent on your knowledge of what’s going on in your body, and of how to steer a course that eases the buffeting you will experience. These 3 workshops address most of the common challenges and health concerns of this time, and give you tools which work.

Live on zoom, in the comfort and privacy of your own home, one, two or three sessions to ease your menopausal journey.

Friday 29th 7-9pm GMT Energy & Sleep

Saturday 30th 5-7pm GMT Body & Health

Sunday 31st 7-9pm GMT Emotions



Session one, Friday, we will look at some common struggles like hot-flushes, sleeplessness, brain-fog, and fatigue. We will learn what is going on in our bodies, and why, and then, using  tools from Yoga and other proven resources,  you will be guided towards accessible and repeatable ways that you can manage, and lessen the impact of these very real symptoms.

Session two,  Saturday, we will address some of the physical concerns women face at this time, and you will be provided with advice and techniques to care for issues such as bone density and muscle mass, pelvic floor health, body shape/weight gain, cardio-vascular health, and liver and gut health (really important issues at this time).



Session three, Sunday, we will focus on the emotional rollercoaster experienced by most women during the years of peri-menopause in particular. Low-mood, anxiety, overwhelm, low libido and stress are frequent visitors. You will learn achievable techniques to take the edges off your experience so that the roller coaster becomes a good deal less frightening.



Niamh is a registered Senior Yoga Teacher with YAP and the creator of Ireland’s first Yoga Teacher Training in Yoga for menopause. She has worked with more than 100 women in Ireland and abroad in this regard, and as a Yoga teacher for 16 years.

    I would love to do this course as a yoga teacher and 48 year old woman going through perimenopause and wondering how I can navigate my way through it and hopefully help other women that will experience this change too.
    Have you decided on dates etc yet??
