Yoga & Nutritional Therapy for Menopause is back! Live and interactive on Zoom, Niamh and Petra reunite to bring you their sought-after workshop to ease your journey through the years of pre-menopause, perimenopause, menopause and beyond.
“I was blown away by the mini-retreat for menopause.” Michelle Davis, Dublin
These are some of the positives that the women we have helped report:
Better sleep. Less exhaustion. More energy.
Greater strength. Less joint pain. More flexibility.
Greater mobility. Less physical discomforts. More pleasure.
Greater self-esteem. Less anxiety. More hope.
Greater self acceptance. Less alone. More community.
Greater understanding. Less fear. More themselves.
As part of our morning together, Petra (HDipNT BSc mNTOI) will engage you with a food demo with lots of fascinating detail about how you can bolster your body during these years.
With the decline in sex hormones, the peri-menopausal transition can often trigger or exacerbate digestive health issues. The demo will involve simple delicious recipes related to supporting gut health. We will also be discussing how a wide variety of foods and nutrients can support our peri-menopausal health and well-being and ways in which we can incorporate these onto our daily plates.
The second part will be with Niamh. You may have seen some of her interviews on a variety of media talking about the wide benefits of Menopause-informed and targeted Yoga. She has been specialising in this area for many years helping around 200 women (and counting) with the “3 As” of Yinstinct Yoga for Menopause: Awareness, Acceptance, Adaptation.
Fear is one of the first things women feel when they first feel their body changing. Awareness strips away that fear, and also helps us accept where we are in our natural life cycle. Then, with a clearer head and heart we can see where we can adapt our lifestyle, our diet, our attitude in order to help us with sleeplessness, anxiety, weight-gain, pelvic floor, bone, heart and brain health, brain fog, hot flushes, and many more symptoms and concerns that are common but not insignificant during this time.
Yoga and nutritional handouts will be included with many practices to support your physical, mental and emotional concerns, and recipes and nutritional information.
